SXC is the best resource for images indeed. I also use iStockPhoto at times. For Fonts, also look at www.fonties.com and www.freebg.info for Free Background Tiles.

check out http://www.dafont.com for free fonts.. also SXC.HU is good for stock but most of them are fairly poor images so if money isnt an object then istockphoto.com is great!
