There is nothing appealing on the site to make me want to stay. I had to zoom out to find your menu, your lightbox makes it seem that after the first X pictures, that that is all, and not that they're numbered by each group. Some of your images never load in the lightbox. There is nothing on the portfolio page that makes me even want to see your work. I got bored after that page and didn't even look at the others.

I agree with meesa. Your menu is a bit confusing. You really need to show the images of your work so they attract your visitors and make them stay longer. At first I thought your site looks like you're a writer, not designer. You have 'text only' makes me read more than clicking around, I find it boring. You've got some great works that I enjoy looking at.

Portfolio is not about showing work but it speaks your personal style - it's about who you are. Just like make a pretty resume/CV instead black and white word document so the employer will know why you chose to create pretty CV over word document.

Please step back and take a long look at your portfolio. Do you like black and white? That's fine. Is it quick/easy to click around? What's the missing part you have? LOGO! Start whip it up and start again

I'm going to have to further their point. I do love that your site is a "one page wonder". You don't see that often. However, the navigation IS lacking. Fix that, and you'll be good to go!

Your menu is hard in use. You really need to create more attractive design, add to the main page content. The visitor must understand what kind of the website he visit.As I understand you like simple design, but I think the design must be fresh and alive. your website navigation is too hard.

I think the slide in and out of the pages is interesting. I'd like to see something more interesting done with the typography. The font is just too boring. I also have a little problem with the background pictures being so big. I keep wanting to scroll up or down to see the whole thing.
