Where can you find free images that are not copyright?

I'm making a charity website, and am getting close to the website being finished. The trouble is I have used some images from Google which I'm sure will not be allowed due to copyright issues.

I need to get images for the website without them being copyright, and at the same time they need to be free.

Where can I find such images?

There are actually several different free photo websites, however some of them just ask that you copyright them for the photos. Which isn't all that hard to do really. Here is a one:

I think you can't find free images without copyright. You can delete copyright just when you buy the image. In either case, it is illegal.

For your clients safety you need to purchase the images. Otherwise, you have no legal course of protection and can be held liable for any lawsuits that come about. Which seem to be increasing this past year from some of the major companies. If its a charity, I would definitely purchase the images. You're looking at $1.50 per image from istock usually.

Naivety is no excuse in business!
