fullscreen through javascript

Hi,
well making a page fullscreen is one of my favorite topics but whenever I have thought of doing it, I have always received one answer and that is, it is only done with flash.
For the first time today I saw one that is not done with flash, can someone tell me how exactly it is done, so I could atlast full my dream of using it ^^

It do have, you might be using IE or old version of firefox or chrome, it doesn't appear only in IE.

I'm in IE10, it should be supported for HTML5.

Well IE is our step child, if 10 or 100 he is still the same old IE6 for me (the only annoying browser)
if you use some other good boys like Firefox, chrome or safari you will see that button, even seamonkey is better than IE.

Playing with people's browser window size and position is a real 'no-no' for any website.

Put a message on the page for people to use F11 to show the page in full-screen mode.

When is the last time you used it?

And I must ask, why would you want the website in full screen? The reason flash allows it is so a full website can take a small video or game on the page and make it bigger. Mostly for games which are usually full screen.

Well I am not going to force users for fullscreen it will optional for them and anyways these days stuff are changing, even facebook now provides fullscreen. I am going to use it for games so it do suits me ^^

Everybody using every browser has a choice if setting teir browser window to fullscreen on demand, you don't any code to handle it at all.
