Looking For Constructive Critique

I have spent the past week or so putting together a new site for my wife's latest venture into adding to our income and now that it is pretty much up and running, I would really appreciate having some fresh eyes check it out for a constructive critique.

The site is HERE.

What I am really interested in the flow. Does the site flow together? Is the site easy to navigate or does it seem confusing? Does it seem to provide useful information?

Got any suggestions to improve the site? I would especially be interested in any SEO suggestions.

personally it looks a little overwhelming straight up.
the menu isnt entirely obvious and there is way too much content on the home page. I'm certain it does provide plenty of good information, but flow? not really I'm afraid.

number one suggestion would be to remove those borders.
makes me think two things.
its 1998 and its a table. of which it is neither.

I changed the theme a week or so ago so I don't understand how everything got messed up and needs to be re-done? The new theme makes it look terrible?

I didn't realize that getting a constructive critique was such a big deal here. I have never had any problem getting coding help and I figured that getting a critique would be useful as well. Guess maybe I figured wrong?

I agree with Dan, there is too much on the front page. Also, why is that border around the menu? Did you know that they menu uses two lines when the screen resolution is 1024x768? Look at the page on a different screen resolution that you're used to, and you'll find it loses its 'centeredness'.

Probably because the majority of people here are developers primarily, NOT designers.

Fair enough.

Anybody care to recommend a forum for designers? Love being able to come here to get help with my coding, now maybe I need to expand out and find a good place for designing.
