A general question really, but does anyone have a good technique or source for creating disabled versions of tool bar buttons?

In a graphics tool.
Set them to greyscale and tweak the contrast and brightness to suit. |

Tell me about it!
I can "fiddle about" with images and (sort of) change colours and such like, but I'm definitely in the "graphically challenged" group.
